The two-day event aims to enhance friendship between the two Parties and States as well as authorities of the two provinces, said Deputy Secretary of the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Dinh Thi Anh at the opening ceremony. Vietnamese youths taking part in the International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences (IATSS) Forum will have opportunities to explore different cultures and exchange with friends in ASEAN countries during 57 days in Japan. The IATSS Forum is an international exchange program between Japan and ASEAN countries in order to improve the understanding and cooperation between people, especially young people among these countries. Over the past 10 years, more than 40 young Vietnamese have been selected for the program.
