Head coach Mai Duc Chung said he is satisfied with the training results of the whole team so far. A total of 25 players are heading for the training in France and the AFF tournament. Vietnam’s U19 team are set to host Japan, Myanmar, and Saudi Arabia in an international U19 tournament which is scheduled to take place in the southern province of Binh Duong from August 5 to August 11. The competition will see four teams play in a round-robin format, with the first and second-placed teams progressing to the final match. The two remaining teams will then play against each other for the third-placed position. All fixtures in the competition will be held at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on August 5, August 7, August 9, and August 11, respectively.
