Vietnam detects fast-spreading BA.2.75 Omicron sub-variant
Vietnam has recorded new Omicron sub-variants including the fast-spreading BA.2.75, which explains the recent resurgence of COVID-19 cases in the country, according to the Ministry of Health. The biennial national beauty contest Miss Vietnam 2022 has now opened for Vietnamese young women aged between 18 and 27. Cambodia starts talks to raise wage for textile workers for 2023

Malaysia Airlines to buy 20 A330neos

The airline will buy 10 of the planes from Airbus and then execute a sale-and-leaseback deal with Avolon, with the other 10 leased directly from Avolon, the carrier announced on August 15. The planes, which will have Rolls-Royce engines, are scheduled to be delivered from the third quarter of 2024 through 2028, the airline said.
