Speaking at a conference at the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) in Da Nang on Friday, he said the country needs to narrow the digital gap and make the Internet available to everybody and ensure "no one is left behind." For this to happen, Vietnam is striving to provide broadband Internet access to every household and smartphone, he said. The government wants to popularize the ‘.vn’ national domain name to exploit the value of Internet resources and develop the digital economy, he said. "The domain will reach at least one million and rank in the world’s top 20-30." The government plans to develop infrastructure, including undersea fiber-optic cables, he said. The year marks the 25th anniversary of Internet in the country. The Grand Prix, hosted by the Tunisian Athletics Federation, is organised on June 27-30 in Tunis City's Rades Stadium. The Vietnamese team of six athletes and one guide will compete in 14 events for both men and women. Athletes have three days to get familiar with the field and train. Vietnam is predicted with a high growth prospect in the region, at more than 6.5% in 2022, 0.7% higher than the average growth of 5.8% for the whole region. This was a key finding from the Economic Forecast presented by the experts at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Economic Insight Forum Q2. This is part of the measures that the department proposed on Thursday in a report on traffic adjustment to solve congestion on some roads. According to the department, despite the BRT bus route being a radial axis, its operational efficiency is reduced, while the high volume of vehicles, especially during peak hours, causes congestion.
