HCM City will organise a non-cash payment discount market for local workers. The event which will take place at Saigon Hi-tech Park and Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone on June 4-12 is among the activities to mark the Vietnamese Cashless Payment Day on June 16 which was held by the State Bank of Vietnam’s Payment Department for the first time in 2019. After finishing her work at a shoe factory run by Pou Yuen Vietnam Co. Ltd in Binh Tan District at 4 p.m., Ly Thi Nghiem, 38, rushed back to her rented apartment to make dinner for her two children aged nine and 11. She did not join them though.
