When the problem is fixed remains unknown. FPT Telecom Company, one of the major participants of the system, said a fiber of this fiber optic cable system’s Vung Tau-Hong Kong line broke at 6:53 p.m. on Tuesday. The disruptive point is 18 kilometers off Vung Tau cable landing station and lies at 19 meters under sea level, affecting Internet services of Vietnamese telecom firms.
