Exhibition features architectural solutions for urban spaces
Nhan Dan Online - Thirty-nine ideas for improving Vietnam's urban spaces using the principles of architecture are now on display at an exhibition in Hanoi organised by the Danish Embassy. The event features ideas submitted by young people from all over the country to the Talent Prize 2013 contest, an initiative of the Vietnam-Denmark Cultural Development and Exchange Fund (CDEF). The contest is held to encourage the creation of unique and effective architectural ideas that can contribute to improving urban spaces in Vietnam. Launched in March, this year's competition received 39 entries with pioneering designs to address the theme 'Architectural Ideas for Improving Urban Spaces'. The jury, consisting of three well-known architects - Nguyen Huu Thai, Pho Duc Tung and Hans Peter Hagens - will select the ten best solutions to be shortlisted for the second round.
