Cambodia prepares for peak tourist season

At a meeting with more than 18,000 workers in Phnom Penh on October 3, the PM noted the possibility of simplifying entry procedures so that Thai tourists can visit Cambodia’s Siem Reap with citizen identification cards, instead of passports. Toulouse opens new venue to display artifacts from Thang Long Citadel
The new venue will be the second in France after the first in the medieval city of Provins, Ile-de-France. Community tourism development associated with cultural identity preservation
Van Ho district in Son La province is bestowed with a cool climate and forest coverage of over 56%. The district is often compared to famous tourism destinations such as Sa Pa, Tam Dao, or Da Lat. Saigon Opera House to get $13.8M facelift
Lam Ngo Hoang Anh, office chief of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, told a city meeting on Thursday that as a national relic, the deteriorating opera house needs a renovation to preserve it and maintain the municipal icon that attracts foreign visitors as a venue for major cultural events. The most important requirement for the renovation project is to ensure the original architectural integrity of the historic building. The project will take three years to complete.
