In the period, the province has effectively implemented its overall strategy on containing COVID-19 and safely and flexibly adapting to the pandemic, thus facilitating development in the new normal situation. Quang Ninh collected over 27.18 trillion VND (1.17 billion USD at current exchange rate) for the State budget , an increase of 18% year-on-year. The visit will be made at the invitation of Lord Speaker of the House of Lords John McFall and Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle. The An Giang Province-born athlete grabbed five world championship gold medals in 2001, 2009, 2010, 2014 and 2017. Vietnam up 39 notches in global quality of life index: CEOWORLD
Vietnam has greatly improved its living standards as it jumped 39 places to become the 62nd-best country worldwide for quality of life in 2021, according to a report by CEOWORLD . The Southeast Asian nation earned 78.49 points, ranking 62nd out of 165 countries and territories, registering a sharp improvement from its 101st position among 171 countries in 2020. It ranked seventh in the region, while Singapore took the lead with 87.64 points, followed by Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Singapore also held the 19th position in the global rankings. Finland was named the world’s best country for quality of life last year with 99.06 points, while Denmark and Norway ranked second and third, respectively. “Being safe, politically stable, and having a well-developed public health system drove Finland’s quality of life ranking to the top of the Best Countries 2021 list,” said CEOWORLD, a business and trade magazine. Exhibition presents ancient documents of clothing items of Nguyen Dynasty
The event displays more than 100 documents, photos and items that are kept at the National Archives Center No 1, History Museum of HCMC, including 50 documents in Han (Chinese script) and Nom (Vietnamese ideographic script) of the collection of 34,555 plates of woodblock of the Nguyen Dynasty which were recognized as a World Documentary Heritage by UNESCO in 2009. The organizers expect to provide knowledge and the aesthetics of costumes and clothing items of the Nguyen Dynasty to viewers. The exhibition taking place at Hue Fine Arts Museum is part of the activities of Hue Festival 2022 that features a wide range of traditional festivals and rituals, cultural, sports, and tourism activities that has been held through all four seasons of the year.
