The pandemic has accelerated an already strong shift towards digital across the world, redrawing how we live, work, and pay. Garment-textile surmounts COVID-19 blow

Technology application helps increase garment and textile productivity (Photo: VietnamPlus) Hanoi (VNA) – Overcoming a series of difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the garment and textile industry is now employing some 2.5 million workers, while generating 40 billion USD worth of export and a trade surplus of nearly 20 billion USD. Last year, the sector began recovering as its key major markets bounced back thanks to effective economic stimulation packages, said Executive Director of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group ( Vinatex ) Cao Huu Hieu, in an interview with the e-newspaper VietnamPlus. FPT Software and Singapore’s NCS jointly develope technology center

This is the 3rd strategic technology center of NCS in Asia. FPT Software, a member company of FPT Group, and Singapore-based Singtel Group’s affiliate NCS signed a cooperation agreement on August 1 to develop a strategic technology center (SDC) in Vietnam. Petrolimex applies solutions to cope with big fluctuations in petrol prices

One of the solutions is to modernise inventory management while engaging in negotiations with major petrol distributors to ensure supply to meet social demand for petrol. At the same time, the group has taken steps to cut costs in all production and business activities through several projects on centralized fleet management, asset management and customer relationship management.
