Hanoi Cuisine and Craft Village Tourism Festival kicked off
The festival is organized by the Hanoi municipal Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center, as part of the activities in response to Vietnam’s hosting of SEA Games 31. The event aims to popularize Hanoi capital as a safe, friendly, quality, and attractive destination and values of Vietnam’s cuisine and handicraft villages to both domestic and international visitors. Through varied activities, the festival is expected the help tourists learn more about Hanoi’s handicraft villages, including Bat Trang Ceramic Village, Van Phuc Silk Village, Phu Vinh Bamboo and Rattan Village, Quat Dong Embroidery Craft Village, and Chuon Ngo Mosaic Village, among others. Exhibition shows ethnic groups’ traditional handicraft
PANO - The Southern Women Museum is exhibiting 152 images and 84 objects highlighting weaving and dying methods and patterns of the traditional costumes of Cham, Khmer and other ethnic minority groups in the Truong Son-Central Highland region. The exhibition, opened on October 14th in Ho Chi Minh City, aims to honor women of those groups, who have been trying to preserve their traditional trade. It is also to introduce to visitors the groups’ cultures, and preservation of traditional trade, contributing to local socio-economic and tourism development. According to Nguyen Thi Tham, the museum’s manager, typical patterns on traditional costume of the ethnic minority groups feature the living environment, culture and rituals of each group. Hanoi Gift Show 2015
PANO – The Hanoi Gift Show 2015 will be held at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Center (148 Giang Vo Street, Hanoi), as announced at a press conference on July 21. According to the organizing panel, around 600 booths from more than 200 businesses and production units in 30 provinces and cities nationwide, such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang city, and Nghe An, are joining the event. The Hanoi Cuisine and Handicraft Villages Tourism Festival has opened to visitors in Lê Quang Đạo Street in Nam Từ Liêm District (opposite the F1 track) to entertain SEA Games visitors. National Senior Golf Championship to start early next month

The organisers said the tournament would be followed by the T99 Vietnam Amateur Series 2022. About 100 amateurs aged 45-55 for women and 50-60 for men and higher aged golfers are expected to join the tournament. The championship started in 2008, with Andrew Hung Pham (men) bagging five championships in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019, and 2021. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung (women) won in 2008 and 2021.
