Situated some 8km away from the Ma Pi Leng Pass in Vietnam’s Ha Giang Province, Chung Pua is a local homestay, converted from an over-130-year-old house, where travelers can experience the authentic local culture of Mong people, an ethnic minority group living in this northernmost locality. The homestay is nestled in Meo Vac Town in the namesake district. The current owner of Chung Pua, which means “by the stream” in the Mong language, is Tran Minh Thai, a lowland resident that moved to Ha Giang for forest product exploitation in the 1990s. The Chung Pua old house was home to five generations of the Vang Mi Si family, a large and wealthy Mong family at the time. Thai purchased this old house from Vang Mi Si in 2011. First batch of VinFast VF 9 SUVs to be delivered on March 27

A ceremony will be held in Ha Noi, Da Nang, and HCM City simultaneously, and deliveries will be continued at all VinFast stores across Viet Nam on the following days. Belonging to the E segment, VF 9 is the largest SUV in VinFast’s current electric vehicle lineup with overall dimensions (LxWxH) of 5,118 x 2,254 x 1,696mm. Its wheelbase of up to 3,150mm and refined structure allows ample interior space, optimal for 6 or 7-seater configurations. The VinFast VF 9 also has two trims, Eco and Plus. Thailand tightens fruit quality management
Illustrative image (Photo: Bangkokpost) Bangkok (VNA) - The Thai Ministry of Commerce’s Internal Trade Department (ITD) is implementing 22 measures to manage fruit supply for this year's harvest, with production estimated to grow by 3% to 6.78 million tonnes. Director-general of the department Wattanasak Sur-iam said the higher output is attributed to cooler weather late last year and early this year. The department remains concerned about the quality of fruit and held discussions with the Agriculture Department about introducing stringent measures to control the quality of exports, especially durian, he said. The ITD also wants to register at least 120,000 orchards for Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) standards this year. Wattanasak said the 22 measures are focused on four areas, covering plans for production, domestic marketing, foreign marketing, and legal issues.
