The Vietnam Craft Village Festival 2023 will take place from November 9 to 12 in Hanoi to promote craft village products and tourism. Ninety award-winning products from the Hanoi Handicraft Design Contest 2023 will be showcased at the Vietnam Craft Village Festival 2023 , held on November 9 at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi. Hanoi completes $27-million road to Soc Son satellite urban area

Its revenues for the period were up nearly nine times year-on-year at VND254 billion, according to its unaudited financial statements. It had made a loss of VND43 billion in the first half of last year. A fare subsidy since mid-2022 has helped improved the company’s financial health, its executives said. In September last year, to meet the burgeoning demand, the Hanoi Metro bought two more trains to add to its existing seven. VN-Index gains marginally
The index closed 1.1 points higher after rising 1.7 points Friday. Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE), on which the index is based, dropped 18% to VND11.5 trillion ($473.25 million). The VN30 basket, comprising the 30 largest capped stocks, saw 16 tickers gained. GVR of Vietnam Rubber Group led with a 4.6% increase, followed by VRE of retail real estate arm Vincom Retail, up 2.9%. VNM of dairy giant Vinamilk rose 1.9% and MSN of conglomerate Masan Group closed 1.4% higher. Twelve blue chips fell. TPB of private TPBank dropped 2% and GAS of state-owned Petrovietnam Gas closed 1.5% lower. Foreign investors were net sellers to the tune of VPB of private lender VPBank and VIC of private conglomerate Vingroup. At the end of August, Hau Giang Cold Storage Logistic Co., Ltd. started construction on its first outsourcing cold storage project in the same province. The scheme includes six cold storages equivalent to a capacity of 88,000 tonnes. With an estimated investment of around $21.7 million, the project will use modern technology from the EU and applying digital management. It is scheduled to be ready for operations by 2027.
