The conference provided an opportunity for Bac Giang to promote litchi sales in domestic and export markets; and strengthen its coordination with centrally-run agencies, domestic and foreign provinces and cities, and overseas Vietnamese economic, trade and diplomatic agencies. The event was attended by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Chairman of the 32nd SEA Games Organizing Committee Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh; and ministers, ambassadors, all contingents and athletes participating in the SEA Games 31. Special performances at the closing ceremony left an unforgettable impression on international friends and demonstrated Vietnam as a country deeply imbued with its traditional cultural identities and intensively integrating into the world. During the ceremony, the SEA Games flag was handed over to Cambodian representatives. Artists from Cambodia then had a performance of “Cambodia welcoming and blessing” to introduce their country, people and culture.
