My eldest son is 14 years old and has been living in Germany ever since we moved there five years ago. When he first arrived, he did not speak a word of German. Now, he can speak fluent German, Vietnamese and English, as well as conversational Russian. However, I have noticed that he was beginning to have some trouble forming more complicated Vietnamese sentences, and he cannot spell very well in his mother tongue. I try to let him speak at least some conversational Vietnamese at home. I teach him Vietnamese every day, and explain as best I can when he makes mistakes. Nevertheless, my son’s default language is now German. He responds in German during sudden outbursts of emotions. To him, German feels more natural than Vietnamese, which is not surprising, as he uses the language every day at school. OTTAWA - Firefighters battled hundreds of forest blazes on Wednesday as Canada's worst-ever early season wildfires prompted the evacuation of thousands and a blanket of smoky air wafting over U.S. cities. Central Retail signs deals to consume Bac Giang lychees in its outlets

This event was organised in line with the cooperation agreement signed between Central Retail Vietnam and the Bac Giang People's Committee on May 16. During the conference, a representative from Central Retail Group shared their experiences in promoting lychee consumption and announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with cooperatives from Luc Ngan District. Vietravel launches new routes
Vietravel Airlines have opened its two first flights linking Hanoi and the cities of Da Lat in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong and the southern central province of Khanh Hoa’s Cam Ranh City. The flight to Da Lat landed at Lien Khuong Airport at 8:10 am. While the flight to Cam Ranh International Airport arrived at 1:40 pm. The two transported nearly 400 passengers. The flight to Da Lat landed at Lien Khuong Airport at 8:10 am on June 7. Vu Duc Bien, general director of Vietravel Airlines, said the two new air routes brought the carrier’s total services from Hanoi to five.
