Hanoi Times - Paperwork to be issued APEC Business Travel Cards (ABTC) in Ho Chi Minh City will be made simpler, said deputy director of the city's Planning and Investment Department Lu Thanh Phong yesterday. Enterprises just need to fill out application forms and prove their business relations with one of the sixteen Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member countries by presenting a purchasing order, contract, invitation letter, or Memorandum of Understanding. All enterprise managers are eligible for an ABTC if their businesses have not violated laws nor settled taxes three months in arrears. All documents are to be submitted to the Planning and Investment Department, to be transferred to the HCMC People's Committee and finally to the Viet Nam Immigration Department for approval.
