Spain returns passports to Vietnamese citizens accused of sexual assault
Spain's Ultima Hora newspaper reported Sunday that the Provincial Court of Palma decided August 3 to return the passports of two Vietnamese citizens accused of "sexually abusing a 17-year-old minor." No additional information was reported about the conclusions drawn by investigators or the court. On June 28, two Vietnamese citizens were arrested on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands, Spain, for allegedly raping a 17-year-old British girl. A spokesman of the Mallorca police department told VnExpress on July 1 that two Vietnamese men, 42 and 38 years old, had been arrested over sexual assault allegations. Spanish judge returns passport to Vietnamese accused of raping adolescent
The two men had been arrested for two months. The Investigating Court of Palma, Majorca, Spain, has returned passports to two Vietnamese men who were accused of raping a minor on the island at the end of June. The court, which is investigating the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl in a hotel in Andratx, decided on August 3 to return their passports and they have already returned to their country originally, according to Spanish Ultima Hora. The two men, one 37-year-old and one 42 and were famous, were released without bail but their passports were confiscated after they were arrested.
