(VOVworld) – The government will provide timely support for needy people to celebrate the coming Tet holiday, said Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen on Sunday’s TV program "People ask, Minister answers". Chuyen said the government always pays due attention to the Tet celebration of policy families, revolutionary contributors, and poor people. 80% of all enterprises will be able to give their workers a Tet bonus, which will average 255 USD each person, up 15% from last year. Chuyen said: "In early January the President issued a decision on Tet gifts for people who have rendered great service to the nation. (RVC), a subsidiary in chip design of Japan's Renesas Technology Corp, have submitted papers on microchip design methodology to an Asian conference set for early November, said Renesas. The Asian Solid-State Circuits Conference (A-SSCC), sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), a scientific society in the electrical equipment and electronics field, will take place in Fukuoka, Japan from November 3 to 5. The papers cover two topics, the optimizing the SH-Mobile R2 processor for portable navigation devices for low power and high performance and the methods for achieving improved performance in a multi-core device with eight CPUs3. Nhan Dan/VNA - Vietnam's Universal Periodic Review (UPR) in the second cycle was reviewed at a session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHCR) on February 5 in Geneva, Switzerland. The report stressed the achievements Vietnam has recorded in respecting, protecting and promoting human rights, as well as in the implementation of proposals made during the first cycle. Existing challenges and limitations during the process, in addition to the Vietnamese Government's priorities in human rights development, were also mentioned in the report.
