International flower festival scheduled to take place in central Vietnam
The festival is scheduled to last from December 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024, covering an area of 89 ha in Quang Ninh District’s Hai Ninh commune. It will be jointly conducted by PAN Asia Co., Quang Binh International Exhibition JSC and Japanese event organiser Hakuhodo.The event is expected to lure eight million visitors, including 2.5 million foreigners, creating revenues of EUR148 million. Of the sum, around VND300 billion (USD13 million) would be contributed to the state budget.After the festival ends, its facilities will be handed over to the locality for the management in line with the AIPH’s regulations.Ho An Phong, vice chairman of Quang Binh Province, said that this is the first kind to be held in Vietnam. Aussie expert assesses how 13th National Party Congress impacts Vietnam’s future
Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam’s current leaders, including those to be elected by the 13th National Party Congress, want the country to play a greater role internationally and to step up proactive international integration, said Carlyle A. Thayer, an Emeritus Professor of Politics at the University of New South Wales in Australia.
