Insured patients are waiting to receive medicine at Trung Vuong Hospital Recently, many people have reported that physicians at Thu Duc City Hospital or satellite clinics of the hospital asked them to go out to buy medicine because the hospital is short of medicine. Many patients with health insurance cards have been angry about losing their benefits; therefore, they have sent petitions to responsible agencies. Talking about this, Director of the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City Associate Professor Tang Chi Thuong said that right after the social distance, the number of patients with health insurance cards coming to Thu Duc City Hospital for examination and treatment increased from 80 percent to more than 100 percent compared to the number during the epidemic outbreak. Vietnam seeks int’l experiences against LGBTI discrimination
In Universal Periodical Review (UPR), Vietnam supported international recommendations to take further steps to protect LGBTI persons against violence and discrimination. Vietnam, a candidate for the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the 2023-2025 term, has been seeking international experiences and support to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) from discrimination. Vietnam remains attractive destination to international investors: HSBC survey
Vietnam keeps being an attractive investment environment for global investors, with many Indian and Chinese enterprises saying they plan to expand their business in the Southeast Asian country in the next two years, according to an HSBC survey. The UK-based HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC), one of the largest banking and financial services institutions in the world, has recently released the results of a large survey of nearly 1,600 companies from six of the world’s largest economies all of which have operations in Southeast Asia. The survey, ‘HSBC Navigator: Southeast Asia (SEA) in Focus,’ covered 1,596 companies from the U.S., the UK, China, France, Germany, and India. Survey respondents were key decision-makers from companies already doing business in SEA or those considering doing so.
