Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen held a reception for newly-appointed Cambodian Consul General Chan Sorykan on Wednesday. A virtual reality light theme park will be developed in Ngu Hanh Son District of Da Nang City in central Vietnam based on South Korean technology, making it the first of its kind in the Southeast Asian nation. The park will be situated in a 60,000-square-meter ancient pine forest in a tourist area in the district. Ho Chi Minh City-based travel company Ben Thanh Tourist signed a memorandum of understanding for the construction of the park with two South Korean partners on Tuesday. Budget airline Vietjet has announced the launch of a direct air route connecting Vietnam and Hiroshima, Japan, making it the first direct route of a Vietnamese airline between the two destinations. This is Vietjet’s eighth air route linking the two countries. There will be two return flights per week, starting from July 19.
