Vietnam has made great strides in improving its living standard as it jumped 39 notches in the global quality of life index rankings in 2021, revealed CEOWORLD, the world’s leading business and trade magazine. Vietnam Airlines returns to Terminal T4 at London Heathrow Airport

Toyota Land Cruiser out of stock in Vietnam
The Land Cruiser LC300, a new version of one of the most sought-after SUVs made by the Japanese automaker, has not been available for pre-order at many dealerships in the two cities since March. Some customers who were able to place pre-orders do not know when exactly their cars would be delivered. Dealerships say it could take nearly a year. Toyota is facing issues with supply of some models, including the Land Cruiser, due to the shortage of parts, a company representative said. Because of the shortage, customers are now buying pre-order contracts from those who have placed the order but no longer have a demand for the car. The new Land Cruiser was first sold in Vietnam in August last year with a price tag of VND500 million ($21,517), but on the secondary market it is being sold at VND700 million or even VND1.6 billion, which is 40-320 percent higher. The new routes’ launch ceremony was held in Mumbai during the visit of Ho Chi Minh City’s leaders to Mumbai as Vietnam and India mark their 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Vietnam-Australia Centre officially launched
Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Australia Centre (VAC) has been officially launched by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and the Australia n Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), becoming a milestone in the Vietnam-Australia strategic partnership. According to the Australian Embassy in Vietnam , the establishment of the centre is in implementation of an agreement signed by the Prime Ministers of the two countries in August 2019. The Hanoi-based centre aims to help Vietnam access Australia’s knowledge, skills and expertise, experience in training and scientific research, thereby strengthening mutual understanding and deepening the fruitful partnership relationship between the two countries. Modern equipment left idle at public hospitals in Vietnam
At some public hospitals in Vietnam, modern medical equipment, whose procurement was covered by the state budget or private firms, has been left idle, while patients are waiting for treatment. Naval ship offers free medical check-ups, medicine in south-central Vietnam
The hospital ship Khanh Hoa 01 of the Vietnam People’s Navy began providing medical examinations and drugs for local residents of Phu Yen Province within the framework of the U.S.-led Pacific Partnership 2022 (PP22) on Tuesday. The medical provision, expected to benefit more than 180 local residents, is set to run at Vung Ro Port through Thursday. Vietnam’s mobile police to be equipped with planes, boats: new law
Mobile police forces in Vietnam will be furnished with aircraft and ships, in addition to weapons and other equipment, according to a new law passed by the country’s legislature last week. The lawmaking National Assembly approved the Law on Mobile Police at its third session on June 16 with over 91 percent of the votes from 474 delegates present. The law, which has five chapters and 33 articles, will take effect from January 1, 2023 and replace the 2013 Ordinance on Mobile Police. As per the new legislation, mobile police will be equipped not only with weapons, explosives, supporting tools, and vehicles as well as professional technical equipment, but also aircraft and boats to carry out their functions, tasks, and powers. Accordingly, mobile force units will be allowed to use aircraft and boats designated for them to implement their law enforcement activities when necessary.
