The HOPA contest, titled "Mua Xuan Nham Dan 2022" (Spring in the Year of the Water Tiger 2022), had two themes: "Xuan Que Huong" (Hometown Spring); and "Chim, Dong vat thien nhien, Hoa, Ca kieng, Con trung" (Birds, Animals, Flowers, Fish, Insects). The "Xuan Que Huong" theme attracted over 2,500 entries from 300 photographers. Of these, 87 were chosen to be exhibited. The award ceremony and the exhibition are set to take place on January 26 in HCMC's District 1. Under this agreement, more friendly exchange programs will be held for youth union members, young workers of the power sector and Lao and Cambodian students studying in the city. These activities  aim to contribute to promoting the fine friendship and solidarity among youths of three neighboring countries. Local units will jointly carry out a youth project entitled “Safe, civilized and economical light source," visit and give Tet gifts as a source of encouragement to Lao and Cambodian students who have to live far away from home for a long time due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the deal signed on Friday, the two sides will work together to conduct joint campaigns to bring domestic and foreign tourists to Da Nang, including digital communications through Facebook and Instagram as well as Klook's website and app, and support local travel firms in digital transformation using Klook platform. Ho Ngoc Quang, a junior chemical engineering student at Drexel University in the U.S., awoke on Jan. 11 with a dry and sore throat. Two days earlier he had gone with a large group of Vietnamese friends to a restaurant in Philadelphia. A day later he had a fever of more than 38.5 degrees Celsius and headache. Eight of them tested positive for Covid-19, while the remaining four, including Quang, have not tested. But he was certain he had Covid since everyone in the group had fever and sore throat. He said: "My friends panicked at first but then tried to calm down since we all had at least two doses of Covid vaccines.
