Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on Brazilian enterprises to beef up trade and investment activities in Vietnam to fully tap the great cooperation potential between the two countries, with the aim of boosting two-way trade to US$10 billion by 2025. Two hundred photographs of women in traditional costumes from 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, taken by renowned French photographer Réhahn, are being displayed for the first time on Google Arts' online digital museum - Google Arts & Culture. This portrait of a Red Dao woman was taken by Réhahn in Sapa, Vietnam's northern province of Lao Cai. Roadshow promotes Vietnam – Australia trade, education cooperation
The event, held as part of the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam - Australia diplomatic relations, drew more than 100 representatives from Australian universities, education establishments, food enterprises, as well as those from local branches, sectors, restaurants, hotels, retailers, importers, universities and colleges. The rice output is expected to reduce by approximately 871,000 tonnes, a decrease of 3.27%, to 25.8 million tonnes. Deputy Secretary-General of the Agricultural Economics Department, Tantita Bunyamaneekul, reported a reduction in the country’s rice cultivation area for the 2023-24 crop year, which totalled 62.4 million rai (9.98 million ha). This is a reduction of 602,000 rai or 0.96% from the previous year. Kien Giang province reported no fishing boats violating foreign waters in recent months, according to the provincial steering board for IUU fishing prevention and control.
