Many Vietnamese enterprises achieved success in 2022 after shifting to exports through e-commerce platforms, especially Amazon. The trend is expected to continue this year. Vietnam was among the top five countries with the highest e-commerce retail sale growth rates in 2022, according to a report by the U.S.’s market research company eMarketer. In 2022, this group net disbursed more than 29.2 trillion VND (1.2 billion USD) to the market, while it has net sold nearly 18.8 trillion VND and set a record net selling value of over 62.2 trillion VND in 2021. Vietnamese policeman suspended for kicking handcuffed man
A police officer in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre was suspended for repeatedly kicking a man who was handcuffed with his hands behind his back, a source told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper on Sunday. CCTV footage taken from a residence in Thanh Trieu Commune, Chau Thanh District, Ben Tre showed that the incident happened at 10:28 pm on January 20. In the video, which later surfaced on social media, a man wearing a Vietnamese police uniform kicked another man in a white shirt in the shoulder and stomach. The latter was already restrained with his hands behind his back. It was not until one of the other officers present at the scene noticed and pointed in the direction of the CCTV that the man wearing the police uniform stopped. Regiment 31 makes preparation to receive new recruits
Regiment 31 yearly welcomes nearly 1,000 recruits from Southern provinces.
