The group will stage a total of 20 shows, with each lasting for 50 minutes across the cities of Seoul, Gyungju, Yungduk, and Chuncheon from August 10 to September 6, reported Radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV). They will use the platform to introduce classic water puppetry plays to Korean audiences, such as fishing, buffalo fighting, dragon, and phoenix dances. National Assembly delegate calls for legalizing sports betting
In a National Assembly questioning session for Minister of Public Security To Lam, delegate Pham Van Hoa said online gambling crimes and crime rings occur and operate in a complex manner, despite the best police efforts. "I believe it is time for our country to put into practice the Decree on the Business of Betting on Horse Racing, Greyhound Racing and International Soccer for better management and taxation, while also limiting online betting," said Hoa. Ho Duc Phoc, Minister of Finance, said such a decree had already been issued in 2017 while the finance ministry had issued a related circular. In 2020, the prime minister also approved an initiative for a horse racecourse in Hanoi's Soc Son District. However, due to multiple difficulties, the plan has yet to be put into practice. In late July, the Ministry of Transport (MoT) sent a dispatch to the Ministry of Justice seeking the latter’s consensus in allowing VINA2 Investment and Construction JSC to transfer its stake in a project to one corporate entity and an individual investor outside the project’s consortium. VINA2 is one of three investors in a BOT project on the renewal and upgrading of National Highway 38’s road section connecting the national highways No.1 and No.5. This is also the first time a stake transfer at a BOT-related enterprise has taken place between a legal entity and individual investor. This rare case began a year ago when the project developer first sought approval from the MoT to allow VINA2 to transfer its entire 31 per cent stake to Vo Phi Hai, who would hold 28 per cent of the stake, and to Investment Mining Port JSC (IMPORT) that will keep the remaining 3 per cent. NAPAS expands transfer-via-QR-code network

The five banks comprise Saigon Hanoi Commercial JS Bank, Cooperative Bank of Viet Nam, Kasikornbank's HCM City Branch, Woori Bank, and CIMB Bank. With the inclusion of the banks, NAPAS's network has increased its membership to 40, accounting for 99.29 per cent of the NAPAS247 market share. The network allows clients of the 40 banks to make money transfers by using mobile banking apps to scan QR codes. The clients can also create their own codes to receive payments by the same means. The network has over 3 million users so far with their transfers growing by 70 per cent per month in the first six months of 2022.
