TLAXCALA -- Wearing flamboyant costumes and masks imitating blue-eyed, bearded Europeans, carnival-goers in Mexico have turned mocking colonizers into an art form. The colorful celebration stands out from hundreds of other carnivals in Latin America by rekindling the spirit of revenge against erstwhile invaders. Each year, men in wooden masks playing the role of light-skinned Europeans dance through the streets of Tlaxcala, one of Mexico's smallest states, located 120 kilometers (75 miles) east of the capital Mexico City. Many sport carefully-trimmed beards resembling those of Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes, while others have mustaches. Russia to simplify visa procedures for 6 countries including Vietnam
"We are working on draft inter-government agreements that imply mutual simplification of visa regimes with Angola, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Syria and the Philippines," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov said, according to the Tass news agency. He added that Russia is working on agreements on visa-free travel with 11 countries - Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, and Trinidad and Tobago. A Russia tourist visa, which offers a maximum stay of 30 days, is required for Vietnamese citizens. Meanwhile, Vietnam offers a 15-day visa exemption for Russian tourists. Last year, Vietnamese officials proposed the Russian government consider a 15-day visa exemption for tourists from Vietnam to boost travel. Quang Ninh province’s tourism reboots impressively

In the first two months of this year, the figures stood at 3.35 million tourists, doubling that in the same period last year, and more than 6.5 trillion VND, respectively. Apart from spiritual tourism, which often sees a boom every spring, cruise services showed a strong recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. 37 international delegations to join 8th Buon Ma Thuot coffee festival
They are representatives of the embassies of the U.S., Australia, Mongolia, Morocco, Angola, and Saudi Arabia; the consulates general of India, Cambodia, Cuba and Russia in Ho Chi Minh City; and the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang. Also joining the festival are delegations from the provincial authorities of Orkhon of Mongolia, Mondulkiri of Cambodia, Jeollabuk of the Republic of Korea, and Salavan, Champasak, Attapeu, Sekong of Laos, as well as those from international organizations, association, press agencies, and businesses. The Hue Festival 2023 is set to take place from April 28 to May 5, with the cultural event featuring a diverse range of activities to introduce Vietnamese culture to the world, according to the organising board.
