Gia Lai repatriates 18 sets of remains of fallen martyrs from Cambodia

At the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee, stated their sacrifice is always remembered by Vietnamese and Cambodian authorities and people. (Photo: VNA) Bangkok (VNA) - Thailand won 92 gold medals to finish second at SEA Games 31 hosted by Vietnam from May 12-23, while the host topped the overall standings with a record haul of 205 golds. Although Thailand were a distant second in Vietnam, Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) Governor Gongsak Yodmani said he was pleased with his athletes' efforts. He argued that the Thais did very well in several " international sports " particularly athletics, swimming, tennis, badminton and table tennis. The SAT had projected that the Thai contingent would win 112 gold medals, including 72 in international sports. Hanoi greets nearly 31,500 foreign tourists during SEA Games 31
Hanoi welcomed 700,000 domestic tourists and 31,448 foreigners who visited or participated in events of the recently concluded SEA Games 31, the municipal Department of Tourism announced on May 24. The project, funded by the Government of the Republic of Korea, aims to build a smart tourism information system; develop an urban cultural tourism center, and expand the city’s walking zone network. In addition, smart lighting and surveillance camera systems will be installed along the banks of the Huong (Perfume) River together with the building of public administration capacity in tourism development and urban management. The project will provide technical solutions to accumulate tourism-related data and increase visitors’ access to necessary information. According to the latest survey by Visa's Green Shoots Radar, 42 per cent of people taking part in the survey said they will travel for entertainment in 2022. "People now come to hotels not only to sleep and eat, but also to entertain themselves and have fun," Le Quoc Vinh, a leading communications expert noted at the talk. To reach that "fun" factor, hotels should enhance their services by creating more unique experiences for customers and personalising those experiences, he said.
