Vietnam has reopened, but the impacts of the pandemic still linger on, particularly among impoverished children and the youth. In response to Humanitarian Month, Masterise Group has implemented community support activities focusing on three key areas including the living environment, education, and humanitarian relief as part of the long-term community initiative Build a Better Future. Children are one of the key focus groups of the Build a Better Future programme since they are the most vulnerable to external factors such as pandemics and natural disasters. Since 2020, four waves of outbreaks have struck Vietnam, leaving thousands of children without their families or the chance to go to school.
