Military units ready for recruit reception and new training season

The statement was made by Major General Hoang Ngoc Dung, Deputy Commander of Military Region 2 during his inspections at the command’s subordinated units on March 2. General Dung was briefed by the command on its projects to upgrade barracks, training grounds for its affiliated units, prepare training grounds and materials for the training season as well as logistic supplies for troops and recruits and exercise COVID-19 prevention and control. During a fact-finding trip to Regiment 754, General Dung acknowledged the unit’s troops’ ability to overcome difficulties to make good preparations for the work. He also pointed out existing shortcomings. The General also asked the provincial Military Command and Regiment 754 to ensure a safe, green, clean and beautiful environment for troops, and to devise quality training plans and assess the quality of recruits. Earlier, the Son La provincial Military Command organized a contest on preparations for the training season in 2021 for 54 contestants who are commanders and officers in charge of training in the 12 district-level military commands in the province. Administrative reform: Personnel is the key

Another cycle of state administrative reform is coming. This is the time to review the results of the administrative reform program in the 2011-2020 period and set the orientation for the next decade. Public administration reform (PAR) is a process for all stakeholders from the public and non-public sectors. In the past decade, there were many systems to monitor the performance of the government apparatus at central and local levels, managed by organizations, associations, and non-governmental organizations, contributing to a push to improve public service efficiency. Attempts to increase rankings The chart below shows the change from zero to many measures to help government agencies at all levels examine themselves over time. The indexes contributing to the change of local public service governance and provision include the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) of UNDP and its partners in Vietnam. Timeline of public performance evaluation indicators In addition, many international indicators are contributing to promoting innovation in Vietnam. The country is making great efforts to increase its position in international rankings in the spirit of Resolution 02/NQ-CP on performing main tasks and solutions to improve the business environment and enhance national competitiveness in 2020. Indicators such as the UN's e-government index, the UNDP's human development index, and the World Bank's business environment are being periodically monitored by Vietnam. Facing the requirement to strengthen national competitiveness and the task of realizing the goals set out in the state administrative reform program, the administrative apparatus, especially grassroots authorities, are under increasing pressure. Vietnamese cueist advances to PBA World Championship quarter-finals

After topping group H in the elimination round, the 46-year-old did not have to face any strong contenders in round-16. As a result, he faced Oh, who had finished second in group D.
