Coordination regulation on search and rescue at sea signed
Chief of Staff of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Khanh and Director of the MRCC III Nguyen Bao Anh co-chaired the conference. Vietnam ready for AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup’s second qualifying round
Vietnam, who topped Group F of the event’s first qualifying round, will compete in Group A with Australia, Iran and Lebanon in the second qualifier. “Vietnam’s opponents are all strong," coach Akira Ijiri said. "Australia are the strongest, but Iran and Lebanon in recent years are also very strong. It's going to be a tough qualifier. However, Vietnam are ready to compete well at the event." ASEAN, Chinese senior officials meet on DOC implementation
Earlier, ASEAN member countries convened a meeting to coordinate their stances. Ambassador Vu Ho, Acting Head of ASEAN SOM Vietnam, led a Vietnamese delegation to the meetings. Myanmar, the coordinator of ASEAN - China ties, and China co-chaired the 20th SOM-DOC which took place after nearly two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Like the dry locks of Sinh Ton (Sin Cowe), Song Tu Tay (Southwest Cay), and Da Tay (West Reef) islands, the dry lock of Truong Sa Island is seen as a firm fulcrum for the task of marine economic development on Truong Sa archipelago. Stepping off fishing trawlers moored in the dry lock, captain of trawler NT 90228 TS Le Xuan Du received me. The annual flower exhibition is hosted by the UK’s Royal Horticultural Society and is considered the most prestigious event of its kind worldwide. Huyen won the silver in the floral design category for her work entitled “Dance of Light”. Her design boasts a flame-inspired theme, utilising an array of purple and yellow flowers to create a natural light effect that shines on a flower lamp post. In line with the show’s criteria, the design does not incorporate plastic, to promote sustainable and environmentally-friendly horticulture.
