The Thua Thien Hue provincial Military Command has directed its agencies and units to mobilize forces to help local people overcome the consequences. Thanh Trung and Thuy Dien were two most strongly affected hamlets in Quang Dien district with more than 30 houses unroofed, and many property damaged. Fortunately, no human loss was reported. A court in Binh Phuoc Province, southern Vietnam on Thursday handed capital punishment to two Vietnamese and one Cambodian for trafficking nearly 32 kilograms of drugs from Cambodia to Vietnam. In particular, the court gave the death sentence to Nguyen Ngoc Hai, 29, and Dang Ngoc Quy, 24, residing in Binh Phuoc Province, along with Sbov Proeurn, 36, from Cambodia. Hai also got a life sentence for the illegal possession of drugs and a two-year jail term for the illegal storage of military weapons. In total, he will serve the death sentence.
