HCMC completes first phase of developing shared databases
DoIC is working with World Bank to host a conference on developing a data strategy for HCMC from 2022-2025 https://data.hochiminhcity.gov.vn . The accessible databases here include electronic version of official documents and information on businesses and household businesses, secured transactions, house use right or land use right registration, hospitals, job certificates, schools and universities, educational services, foreign investment projects, public investment projects, market prices of essential commodities. DoIC is launching a virtual assistant service to aid officials to use these databases effectively for administrative procedure completion. Its agriculture will bear the most damages, seeing a drop of 13.5 percent in its added value and a loss of $43 billion from 2020-2100. In 2100, if the sea level rises by 100cm, 6.3 percent of the surface area of Vietnam will be lost, while the affected proportions of the railway system, national roads, and provincial roads will be 4 percent, 9 percent, and 12 percent, respectively.
