The trio Nguyen Thi Phuong, Luu Thi Thu Uyen and Nguyen Ngoc Tram brought home the gold in women’s team kata. Two female artists of Vietnam won gold, Bui Thi Thao in women’s kumite over 68kg and Ho Thi Thu Hien in women’s kumite under 68kg, while Do Thanh Nhan pocketed gold in men’s kumite under 84kg. SEA Games 31: Vietnam and Thailand to compete for football gold medal
Both Vietnamese men's and women’s U23 football teams advance to the finals and compete for gold medals. Vietnam and Thailand will compete for the gold medal at the finals of SEA Games 31 after the two teams won their rivals 1-0 in each match both took place on May 19. Defending champions Vietnam beat Malaysia 1-0 at Viet Tri Stadium in northern Phu Tho Province on Thursday night to set up an exciting Southeast Asian (SEA) Games men’s football final against archrivals Thailand. The game needed two extra 15-minute halves after regulation time to decide who will play the finale against the Thais, who also defeated Indonesia 1-0 after 120 minutes in the other semifinal earlier the same day. The hosts came into the tie having not conceded a single goal in the group stage and put more pressure on Malaysia in the first half after the first 10 cagey minutes. Malaysia had a shot on target from close range after a corner was half cleared, but Vietnamese goalkeeper Nguyen Van Toan was able to smother the effort easily. Japanese M&A in Vietnam on a steady track to bigger deals
The deal value in Vietnam by Japanese investors last year was more than triple the figure of 2020. Why has there been a sharp increase in Japanese mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deals? Vietnam tops SEA Games 31 medal tally with 125 golds

Marathoner wins historic gold for Vietnam at SEA Games 31
During the event began in early May 19 morning near Hanoi-based My Dinh National Stadium, Thanh faced fierce competition from defending champion Agus Prayogo of Indonesia and Tony Ah-Thit Payne of Thailand. He reached the finish line first after 2:25:08, faster than the second-placed Prayogo by 30 seconds. In addition, he set a new personal record as his previous one was 2:26:56.
