Ninh Binh Province in northern Vietnam ranked seventh on a list of the 10 most welcoming destinations in the world published recently by Dutch-based online travel agency Booking.com. The ranking was based on an analysis of more than 240 million verified customer reviews on the website. UK Minister of International Trade Greg Hands visited Vietnam on Wednesday to explore trade cooperation opportunities between the two countries. German organization, state grant water filters to Vietnam
Of the total, 17 PAUL (Portable Aqua Unit for Livesaving) filters were donated by the German state, and the rest by WUS. All of these devices, which will be presented to 30 schools, were transported free of charge by Vietnam's national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines from Frankfurt to Hanoi. To date, the German nonprofit organization has delivered 301 devices, including 91 donated by Sachsen-Anhalt state, to Vietnam. This act has helped more than 120,000 students and teachers gain access to clean drinking water. Military-civilian ties boosted in Coi Da village
According to local people, since troops of Regiment 996 of the Quang Binh provincial Military Command implemented mobilization work, the commune has been changed positively. Head of Coi Da village Ho Van Vua held that in the past, the village was divided by a stream so local people had to wade through the water or travel quite a long distance to pass the stream. However, the troops helped locals build a concrete road so that the local people were able to go around the village. Coi Da is a village in Ngan Thuy commune with hard living and road conditions, and poor economic development. There are a lot of Pa Co and Van Kieu ethnic people living here, and they are facing difficulties in their daily life.
