Vietnamese swimmer Trinh Thi Bich Nhu won a gold medal in the women’s 50-meter butterfly swim event at the 2022 Southeast Asian Para Games (ASEAN Para Games), taking place in Indonesia, with a record-breaking result on Thursday morning. Nhu’s achievement was 42.60 seconds, surpassing the Games’ record of 1:00.18 held by Malaysian swimmer Koh Lee Peng.
