(Photo: VNA) Quang Ngai (VNA) – The Sa Huynh Civilisation relic site in Duc Pho township of the central province of Quang Ngai has earned a special national status as recognised by the Prime Minister recently. The provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony on March 24 to receive the special national relic site certificate. Tran Hoang Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee, said that in 1909, French archaeologist M.Vinet discovered antiquities of the Sa Huynh Civilisation. These ancient artifacts first appeared about 3,000 years ago and ended in the first century AD. Through different excavations, archaeologists continually found traces of a civilisation, including about 500 burial jars containing many accompaniments, across the coastal central, southeastern, and Central Highlands regions. A mission, including 52 businesses from the U.S., is scheduled to visit Vietnam this week to learn about the local market and seek business and investment opportunities. This is the largest-ever U.S. business mission to Vietnam. The document states that, on January 7, Minister of Industry and Trade signed Decision No.21/QD-BCT establishing the price bracket for the generation of electricity by solar and transitional wind power plants. On January 9, the MoIT issued Document No.107/BCT-DTDL, urging EVN and its investors in solar energy and transitional wind plants to urgently coordinate to negotiate and cooperate on electricity generation prices to ensure that they do not exceed the MoIT's electricity generation price bracket. The MoIT also issued Document No.1094/BCT-DTDL on March 2, directing EVN on how to fulfil the agreement on electricity pricing outlined in the Electricity Law.
