Hanwha Life Vietnam inks co-operation deal with Pharmacity

According to the MoU, Pharmacity will become a partner in the customer care network of Hanwha Life. Customers of Hanwha Life Vietnam will be able to access the benefits provided from this collaboration as well as experience policy owner services such as premium payments at the system of over 500 drugstores of Pharmacity nationwide via payment service providers like Payoo, Momo, and VNPay. About 450 staff members and 44,000 agents of Hanwha Life will be the recipients of the incentives of Pharmacity. The MoU with Pharmacity also aims to realise Hanwha Life’s mission to build a comprehensive life solution for customers in Vietnam As a life insurance company pioneering co-operating with a leading healthcare partner, Im Dong Jun, CEO cum chairman of the Member Council of Hanwha Life Vietnam, said, “Healthcare is an essential part of our business, considering its nature. Particularly in the context of the pandemic, human health has become a great concern for most people and the whole society. All Vietnamese airlines suspend int’l flights

The Hanoitimes - All air carriers have temporarily halted international flights due to the Covid-19 pandemic. All Vietnamese airlines have announced temporary suspension of international services as travel restrictions across the globe are delivering a strong blow to the aviation industry. National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines announced on March 19 it would suspend all international flights until April 30 due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, entry restrictions of many countries as well as border closures between nations. Photo: Vietnam Airlines Specifically, the carrier's flights to and from Southeast Asian countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar will be halted from March 21 while services to/from the UK and Japan will be temporarily canceled from March 23. Its flights to Germany and Australia will be stopped from March 24 while those returning to Vietnam will be canceled from March 25. Previously, the carrier had temporarily suspended services connecting Vietnam and China, Hongkong, Macau, South Korea, France, Russia, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Budget carrier Vietjet Air will also cease flying from and to ASEAN countries including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia. The low-cost carrier also announced on March 3 to suspend all flights between Vietnam and South Korea from March 7. Jetstar Pacific, the budget arm of Vietnam Airlines, will also temporarily cease all international flights until April 30. Meanwhile, startup airline Bamboo Airways announced to postpone its plan to fly between Hanoi and Prague of the Czech Republic as originally scheduled from March 29 to April 26 due to the pandemic. Vietnam okays e-visa for citizens of 80 countries from July 1

The Hanoitimes - The government also revealed a list of border gates and airports that will allow the entry of e-visa holders. The Vietnamese government has made public a list of 80 countries whose citizens are eligible for e-visa to enter Vietnam as well as a list of international border gates that allow the entry of e-visa holders from July 1. Photo: Vietnam News The new regulation, Resolution No.79/NQ-CP, was issued by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in line with the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam. Nationals of Austria, Poland, Belgium, Portugal, the UAE, Germany, India, South Korea, the US, Italy, Finland, France, China, Brazil, Canada, Russia, the UK, Japan, Spain, among others, are allowed to enter Vietnam if granted e-visas. E-visas procedures are carried out at eight international airports, 16 international land border crossings and 13 sea ports across the country. Eight airports that accept e-visas are Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Da Nang, Cat Bi, Can Tho, Phu Quoc and Phu Bai. Sixteen land border crossings processing e-visas are Tay Trang (Dien Bien province), Mong Cai (Quang Ninh province), Huu Nghi (Lang Son province), Lao Cai (Lao Cai province); Na Meo (Thanh Hoa province), Nam Can (Nghe An province), Cau Treo (Ha Tinh province), Cha Lo (Quang Binh province), La Lay, Lao Bao (Quang Tri province), Bo Y (Kon Tum), Moc Bai, Xa Mat (Tay Ninh province), Tinh Bien, Song Tien (An Giang province), and Ha Tien (Kien Giang province).
