Da Nang enhances friendship, cooperation with Lao localities
During the meeting, Quang highlighted the great relations between the two Parties and States, saying that Da Nang always appreciates its friendship with Laos. He expressed his hope that the Lao consul general will contribute to promoting friendship and cooperation between central provinces of Vietnam with Lao localities and partners. ASEAN defence ministers’ meeting opens in Cambodia

Exhibition highlights Vietnam – Cambodia relationship
The exhibition, themed “Vietnam - Cambodia Solidarity and Friendship,” is part of the activities to mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam - Cambodia diplomatic relations (June 24, 1967 – 2022). Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, representatives from the GDP’s agencies and the Department of Foreign Relations, and Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Chay Navuth attended the event. A priceless common asset of the two peoples Since Cambodia's revolutionary and armed forces were strong and capable enough to defend the country, Vietnam withdrew its volunteer troops and advisors in 1989 under the agreement between the two parties and states, successfully fulfilling the glorious international mission in the neighboring country. After the Paris Peace Agreement in 1991 and the General Election in 1993, the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship was lifted to a new stage in accordance with the actual situation in each country. Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang celebrate Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties
In his speech delivered at the event, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan highlighted the long-lasting relations between the two countries, which were founded by Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Kaysone Phomvihane and Prince Souphanouvong, then nurtured and developed by generations of Party and State leaders and people of Vietnam and Laos. Cambodian officers visit Vietnam’s Military Region 9
At the reception, Major General Pham Thanh Tam, Deputy Commander of the Military Region 9 Command, welcomed and briefed the Cambodian delegates on socio-economic and defense-security situations in the region since the beginning of this year.
