The meeting aimed to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the Truong Son – Ho Chi Minh Trail and the Foundation Day of the Truong Son Army Corps (May 19, 1959-2022). At the working session, Senior Colonel Nguyen Huu Ngoc, Commander of Army Corps 12 shared that Army Corps 12 is the successor of Corps 559 – Truong Son soldiers. During the 16-year struggle against the U.S imperialists, Truong Son soldiers, together with volunteer youths and the front-line conscripted laborers, overcame numerous difficulties and hardships to build the legendary Truong Son Trail, contributing to liberating the South and unifying the nation.
