Vietnam reaffirms support for UN Secretary-General’s appeal for global ceasefire

She held that the international community should give high priority to ensuring compliance with international law and the UN Charter. She also underlined the role of multilateralism and multilateral mechanisms with the UN at their center. Securities stocks strengthen after draft on T+2 settlement cycle
Before today's trading session, investors received the news that the Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD) had recently consulted on a draft regulation on clearing and payment of securities transactions under the direction of adjusting the payment time for completing the T+2 settlement cycle of the State Securities Commission of Vietnam. One of the essential contents of this draft is the adjustment of the time for securities settlement and clearing banks to complete payment from 3.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. to from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on the trade date plus two days (T+2). With this new regulation, investors can trade right in the afternoon trading session of T+2. According to the draft, the money for securities transactions will be transferred to investors' accounts one day earlier than the old regulations. Therefore, investors can use the money to buy securities right in the afternoon trading session of T+2 instead of having to advance money as before. Vietnam, Belgium look to step up trade, investment ties
Trade Counselor in Belgium Tran Ngoc Quan briefed participants on the investment environment in Vietnam at the event during which potential and strengths of Belgian regions were introduced. With 119 points, Vietnam’s leading tennis player Ly Hoang Nam was ranked 364th in the latest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) men’s singles ranking. Tennis player Ly Hoang Nam. The result is attributed to the fact that the player triumphed at ITF M15 in the southwestern province of Tay Ninh, earning 45 points. With the latest ranking, he remains the number-one tennis player in Southeast Asia and is far ahead of rivals in the region. Kasidit Samrej, a 21-year-old player of Thailand, is the second at 662nd.
