Hanoi still reported the highest number of infections on the day with 321 cases, followed by Vinh Phuc with 98 and Phu Tho with 94. The national tally reached 10,711,389. Tam Dao District in the northern province of Vinh Phuc has faced serious flooding following torrential heavy rains that brought a record amount of rainfall in 60 years. An additional 1,275 new Covid-19 infections were confirmed on Thursday, raising the national tally to over 10.71 million, according to the Ministry of Health.
