The programme aims to encourage ideas for aviation sustainable development , further reduce aviation’s impact on the environment and spur breakthrough ideas that can be shared across the industry. It has drawn the participation of 16 airlines from many countries including the United States, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, China and the Republic of Korea. The article by Sazali Abdul Aziz reported that after two days of track and field competitions at the SEA Games 31 in Hanoi, Vietnam topped the medal table. For nearly two decades following Thailand, Vietnam finally usurped their rivals to emerge as the top nation in athletics in the 2017 Games in Malaysia. They followed it up with another table-topping show two years later in the Philippines, and are looking to make it three in a row. Vietnam’s economic recovery gaining momentum
Vietnam continues to benefit from its broad re-opening strategy, which saw a huge crowd flocking to tourist hotspots in the country and household spending rebound. SEA Games 31: Vietnam’s shooting team earns first medal
With the achievement of a silver medal, shooter Phi Thanh Thao was awarded a hot bonus of VND5 million (US$218) from the leader of Vietnam Sports Delegation. This morning, the shooter and her teammate Le Thi Mong Tuyen qualified for the women’s 10-meter air rifle final. After the first 12 shots, Mong Tuyen was eliminated from the final against competitors of Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia with a total point of 120.4. It is hoped Pillar 2 would take effect from 2023. The regime would be applied to multinational corporations (MNCs) with a global consolidated turnover exceeding $778.5 million. Therefore, there would be a number of large MNCs in Vietnam in the scope of Pillar 2. When applying Pillar 2, if the effective tax rate of the subsidiaries of those MNCs in Vietnam is less than the GMT rate of 15 per cent, they would incur additional tax liabilities in the country of their headquarters, equal to the difference between the 15 per cent rate and the effective tax rate in Vietnam.
