Hai started his career 16 years ago and has spent his entire career at Hanoi FC, from the youth to senior team. Currently, he is applying for a working visa for the contract signed with the club in Ligue 2 so that he can go back to France for a medical examination. If he passes it, his contract with the club will take effect and Hai will become the first Vietnamese player to play for a professional league in France. Established in 1920, Pau FC finished 10th in Ligue 2 in the last season. It owns the 4,031-seater Nouste Campo stadium. Bernard Laporte-Fray, president of the club, chose Hai because of his creative and clever style, the newspaper said. He decided to sign a two-year contract with the Vietnamese midfielder with an option of extending for another year. The competition, part of the Taste of Australia event, was organised by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and supported by Vietnam’s Graduates from Australia Club (VGAC). It had two rounds – an online one held from May 12-June 4; and a final round held on June 25 in Ho Chi Minh City. All contestants registered for the online round submitted video clips with two cups with two different patterns from four subjects - Heart, Tulip, Rosetta and Swan.
