Cargill inaugurates 28 million USD premix factory in Dong Nai

(Photo: VNA) Dong Nai (VNA) – The US-based global food conglomerate Cargill has freshly opened its 28 million USD premix plant in the southern province of Dong Nai. Located at the Giang Dien industrial park in Trang Bom district, the Provimi Premix factory spans 30,000 square metres and is capable of annually producing 40,000 tonnes of premixes - mixtures of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and other feed additives that are incorporated in the compound feed. With an automation rate exceeding 95%, the facility, currently the most advanced of its kind in Asia, was built to expand and completely replace the old Provimi factory in Bien Hoa City. The US$28 million plant represents a quantum leap forward from the Provimi Biên Hòa plant with vastly improved technology and superior infrastructure, representing the best of Cargill premix facilities in Asia, said Phạm Đức Thắng, managing director, Cargill Animal Nutrition Thailand & Vietnam. The Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City (Consular Club HCMC) hosted a fundraising dinner in the city on Saturday evening to raise funds for disadvantaged children, minority girls, and needy people in southern Vietnam. The Consular Club Fundraising Dinner 2023, an annual event with the ‘Stronger Together’ theme, took place at Continental Saigon Hotel in the city’s downtown District 1, attracting representatives from 19 countries, diplomatic missions, and business communities. The funds raised from the party, along with the proceeds from the auction of various items, including paintings and wines, will be donated to three charities, including Planète Enfants & Développement (PE&D), a French non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1984 to protect children from violence and exploitation and create conditions conducive to their well-being and development. A shot of Johnny Tri Nguyen in "The Continental: From the World of John Wick" Johhny kept the role a secret before audiences saw him in the second episode of the series, which aired on September 29. His character named Khang, is the master of an assassin named Yen, played by Nhung Kate. Khang appeared at the start of the episode, speaking Vietnamese to Yen and encouraging her to go on a mission for justice. Nhung said she and Johnny went to Budapest, Hungary to shoot the series in late 2021. Thanks to the support of her boyfriend, Nhung wasn’t under pressure when she performed in action sequences. Johnny helped Nhung improve her English as well as martial arts skills.
