Vietnam, Brazil and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation (GAVI) jointly organised the seminar with the participation of representatives from the World Health Organisation (WHO). Thi Vai LNG complex passes pilot testing, ready to go
An aerial view of part of the Thi Vai liquefied natural gas (LNG) warehouse and terminal complex (Photo: congthuong.vn) Hanoi (VNA) – The Thi Vai liquefied natural gas (LNG) warehouse and terminal complex, the first of its kind in Vietnam, of the Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), has passed a series of technical tests and is now ready to be put into commercial operation. Work started on the Thi Vai LNG warehouse and terminal projects, based in the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, on October 28, 2019. Their trial operations began on July 10, 2023, and the test run of the main processes completed on July 30. The Thi Vai system is currently the biggest LNG complex in the country. The LNG warehouse, the heart of the system, already had its first phase completed with the storage capacity of 180,000 cu.m., able to handle 1 million tonnes of LNG per year. The Vietnamese foreign minister made the statement at the reception for Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister and Secretary-General of the steering committee for China - Vietnam bilateral cooperation Nong Rong on September 28 in Hanoi. At the meeting, FM Son hoped that the two sides would continue to concretize high-level common perceptions, increase strategic exchanges between the two countries’ leaders, strongly promote and strive to achieve more specific progress in each field of cooperation. Vietnamese paintings auctioned for thousands of dollars in France

Several Vietnamese paintings, most of which depict Vietnam’s traditional landscapes, have made an appearance and fetched thousands of dollars through auctions during an art week in France. The Asian Spring art week, or Printemps Asiatique, was held from June 6 to 17 in Paris with the participation of 24 exhibiting centers for Asian arts, 16 auction houses, and five museums. The Asian Spring Paris association organized the art event in an effort to create a bond among museums, auction bidders, businessmen and collectors of Asian art, while also enabling French art lovers and collectors to be exposed to the most beautiful Asian art pieces, showcasing the beauty of the culture and its artwork.
