They suggested the Government continue issuing policies to support businesses and farmers in Can Tho affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and natural disasters; and policies and incentives for attracting investment, building traffic and irrigation infrastructure, and a health center that matches Can Tho's position as the center of the Mekong Delta region. Speaking at the meeting, PM Chinh thanked voters for their frank, sincere, and responsible opinions. He noted that the Politburo's resolution 13-NQ/TW dedicated to the Mekong Delta had clarified the importance of the region, and Can Tho as the center of the delta. Innovation in agriculture encourages the use of modern technologies. —Photo clf-poland.com HÀ NỘI — Experts from the Visegrad Group (V4) - the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia -  shared experience in agricultural innovation at a workshop held in Hà Nội on May 20. Őry Csaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in Việt Nam, said agriculture was an ever-changing, dynamic sector, the experts of which need to be ready to answer various emerging challenges, from the effects of climate change, through excessive use of inorganic fertilisers, to the high demand of agricultural products. (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The Embassy of Vietnam held a seminar with Vietnamese scientists and intellectuals in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on May 15 to discuss cooperation in science and technology. Nearly 30 Vietnamese professors and doctors from leading universities and research institutes in the RoK, along with representatives of the Vietnamese Students’ Association in the country attended the event. Counsellor Do Thi Bich Ngoc, head of Vietnam’s division for science and technology in the RoK, provided an overview of Vietnam’s orientations for scientific - technological development and innovation, noting that the country views science and technology as an impulse for growth.
