SEOUL — K-pop superstars BTS will take a 'long-term break' from the music scene, their agency said on Monday, after the boy band topped charts in the US and Britain earlier this year. But the pause may only last a few weeks, with the septet due to play a controversial show in Saudi Arabia in October. The K-pop industry is known for cutthroat competition and around-the-clock work hours that include concerts, press events and gruelling singing and dancing training when the stars are offstage. BTS will take their "first official long-term break since their debut" six years ago, managers Big Hit Entertainment said, adding it will be a time to "recharge and refresh as musicians and creators". "If you run into BTS at an unexpected place, we ask for the fans' consideration to allow the members to enjoy their private time." (Source: VNA) HCM City (VNS/VNA) - Saigon Petro Company Limited recently proposed policies for the development of E5 RON 92 to be reviewed over the significant declines in sales of this biofuel. The company cited statistics showing that the proportion of E5 RON 92 biofuel in retail sales dropped considerably in recent months, from an average of 30.06 percent in 2018 to 25.58 percent in January, 22.74 percent in February and 19.79 percent in March. In the proposal submitted to the Ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance, the company said that the declining trend in sales of biofuel E5 RON 92 was anticipated to continue. The company attributed the decline in sales of biofuel E5 RON 92 to consumers still preferring petrol RON 95 to biofuel E5 RON 92 over the thinking the former had better quality and safety. The price of petrol RON 95 was only 1,530 VND per litre higher than biofuel E5 RON 92, which was not … [Read more...] about Review of policies for biofuel E5 RON 92 proposed

Dr W.B. McNaull. — Photo courtesy of Family Medical Practice Viet Nam News Seasonal influenza epidemics are annually responsible for between 3 million and 5 million cases of severe illness and between 250,000 and 500,000 deaths worldwide. Influenza is a viral infection that attacks the respiratory system, including your nose, throat, bronchial tubes and lungs. The flu is caused by three types of viruses — influenza A, B and C. Type A is responsible for the deadly influenza pandemics (worldwide epidemics) that strike between every 10 to 40 years. Young children, older adults, people with weakened immune systems and those with chronic illnesses are especially vulnerable. Once you’ve had the flu, you develop antibodies to the virus strain that caused it, but those antibodies won’t protect you from new strains. That’s why doctors recommend getting a flu shot every year to protect against new emerging strains of the virus. The flu vaccine … [Read more...] about Stopping the flu. Starts with you
