Two famous fashion designers from Australia and the Netherlands will feature their latest collections in a show to be held next Tuesday in Ho Chi Minh City. The "Lynk Fashion Show 2014," which will run at the Reunification Palace at 135 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street in District 1, will boast 40 summer-spring designs created by Australian designer Toni Maticevski and his Dutch counterpart Peet Dullaert. Eighteen television performers from several countries are in Ho Chi Minh City for a TV program titled "Duyen dang truyen hinh (Charming TV employees) ASEAN TPHCM 2009." It is being organized by Ho Chi Minh City Television and China's Guangxi TV. (CPV)- The Ho Chi Minh city overseas youth summer camp 2013, organized by the Ho Chi Minh city State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese and the Ho Chi Minh city Youth Union, was opened on July 23. The annual event aims to give young overseas Vietnamese a chance to know their homeland and the people of Vietnam. The 8th summer camp 2013 takes place from July 23-26 and attracts 40 participants including young expatriates from countries such as Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Russia, Bulgaria and France. On the evening of January 16, Le Hoang Quan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City welcomed the Vice President of India, Mohammad Hamid Ansari, at the Reunification Palace on his official visit to Vietnam. At the meeting, visiting Indian Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari praised Ho Chi Minh City as a dynamic and growing city with great potential for cooperation in economics, trade, culture and education.
