A plane of Vietnam Airlines (Source: Vietnam Airlines) Beijing (VNA) – Vietnam Airlines conducted the first regular flight from Beijing ( China ) to Hanoi on March 19 after a three-year suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The flight, VN513, departed the Chinese capital at 3:30pm (Beijing time) and will arrive in Hanoi at 5:55pm (Hanoi time). Passengers were welcomed with a ceremony held by the national flag carrier of Vietnam at Beijing Capital International Airport. Vietnam Airlines is operating three round-trip flights per week between Hanoi and Beijing, and will increase the flights from mid-2023. Thanks to its tireless efforts, the province has recorded positive changes in fishery management. The provincial People's Committee has issued plans with specific roadmaps and assigned tasks to relevant departments, sectors and localities. Singapore’s banks face ‘insignificant’ exposures to Credit Suisse

Banks in Singapore are well-capitalised and conduct regular stress tests against credit and other risks, the financial authority said in a statement, adding that their liquidity positions are healthy, underpinned by a stable and diversified funding base. Vietnam college among universities with best coders in world: report
A U.S. tech firm has sought to figure out which colleges have the best coders in the world and come up with a final ranking, where a Ho Chi Minh City-based university is placed in the top-three list. HackerRank, which focuses on competitive programming challenges for both consumers and businesses, has hosted a major University Rankings Competition to “figure out which colleges have the best coders.” The Palo Alto-based technology company announced on its website on Wednesday that their final data found that the world’s best coders in the world hail from universities in Russia, China and Vietnam. Vietnam’s Lao Cai Province reports over 200 influenza A infections in children
The health authority of Lao Cai Province in northern Vietnam said on Friday afternoon that it had detected and put under control an influenza A outbreak that has left more than 200 local children infected. A report of the Bao Yen District Medical Center showed that the first cases were reported on March 7 after five students developed such symptoms as cough, fever, fatigue and had to be off from school. The flu then spread to the community. On March 9, a healthcare station in Pho Rang Town, Bao Yen District reported 133 local students exhibiting the same symptoms to the Bao Yen District Medical Center. The number of flu-hit students in the area has neared 240 after one week. The Bao Yen District Medical Center made a swift response, including conducting contact tracing, screening, providing guidance on home-based quarantine and medical treatment, disinfecting schools linked to the influenza A cases, and raising public awareness about flu prevention and control.
